Clubs, Pubs and Bars in Islington: An Epic Guide

Islington is a great place to live and work, whether you’re single, a couple or family, but you may not know it is also a popular place to go for a night out. Here we’ll take you through some of the best clubs, pubs and bars in Islington where you can enjoy a tipple and a boogie one weekend soon.

Clubs in Islington

Fabric – 77a Charterhouse St, EC1M 3HN
Fabric is known throughout North London for its great night out. With speakers built into the floor, you can in the words of Rihanna “let the bass from the speakers run through your sneakers” as you dance the night away. And when you need a break there are bed seats for you to relax on.
Visit on a Friday for live performances, plus drum’n’bass and electro music, pop by on a Saturday night for a chance to get your glad rags on or swing by on a Sunday for its regular gay night.

Electrowerkz – 7 Torrens St, EC1V 1NQ
All other clubs are good, but they are nothing quite like Electrowerkz. This warehouse club is home to Slimelight the longest running goth club night in the world. Dance the night away to cyber-synth and darkwave, among shabby industrial surroundings or why not visit on one of the jazz or reggae nights instead?
Nomad – 58 Old St, EC1V 9AJ
Whether you’re looking for cool, lounge vibes or raving electricity, Nomad has the best of both worlds. Enjoy cocktails in the Moroccan themed downstairs and then take the party upstairs to throw some shapes on the dancefloor.
This is the ideal place to listen to some of the hottest pop music of the moment, and the drinks are reasonably priced too!

Egg London – 200 York Way, N7 9AX
Egg London has seen recent refurbishment and is now three floors of pure party heaven, with one of London’s largest open-air terraces. With a loft, garden and multiple rooms, this is a venue fit for any purpose and its club night certainly doesn’t disappoint.
Plan a night out here on a Friday for new-school talent on the decks with a young, vibrant vibe, or visit on a Saturday to see international superstar DJs blast out the best house and techno of the moment. Whatever your taste in music, you’re able to club the night away here as Egg is open until 10am. Could you hack it?
